Sharma P, et al. - Researchers undertook this investigation to assess sevoflurane sparing impact of dexmedetomidine in patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy under entropy-guided general anesthesia (GA). In this population, a 41% attenuation in sevoflurane consumption was observed in patients receiving intravenous (IV) dexmedetomidine as an adjuvant.
