Hu Y, et al. - The researchers performed this study to investigate the effectiveness of baseline serum neuron-specific enolase (NSE) on predicting the severity and outcome in patients with cerebral venous thrombosis (CVT). They found a positive association between baseline level of serum NSE and the severity of CVT. Probably, NSE could be a potential predictor of the clinical outcome of CVT.
