Rigamonti F, et al. - An examination was pursued of the prognostic value of lipoprotein(a) [Lp(a)] and its connection with intraplaque features among patients with severe carotid artery stenosis undergoing endarterectomy. In the study cohort, Lp(a) determination possibly served as a beneficial factor for speculating acute coronary syndrome (ACS).
