Jiang H, et al. - The purpose of this study was to evaluate serum homocysteine (HCY) levels in acne patients. The inference drawn was that hyperhomocysteinemia could serve as an independent risk factor for acne vulgaris. The detection of serum HCY was significant for acne patients.
