Serum exosomal long noncoding RNAs ENSG00000258332.1 and LINC00635 for the diagnosis and prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma
Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers & Prevention May 21, 2018
Xu H, et al. - Experts evaluated the effect of long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) as diagnostic biomarkers for hepatocellular carcinoma. In the first part of the study, they recruited patients including a hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) group, liver cirrhosis (LC) group, chronic hepatitis B (CHB) group, and healthy subjects. Data demonstrated that in diagnosis and prognosis of HCC, the combination of serum exosomal ENSG00000258332.1, LINC00635, and AFP could be a valuable assay. A light on exosomal lncRNAs as biomarkers for HCC was shed in the findngs.
