Garoufi A, et al. - An inquiry was conducted with regard to the anti-oxidative modification of LDL (oxLDL) antibodies in healthy children and adolescents with and without hypercholesterolemia. The inference drawn was that total anti-oxLDL antibodies could not serve as a marker in the analysis of the risk for atherosclerosis and future cardiovascular diseases in the study cohort.
