Sertraline for major depression during the year following traumatic brain injury: A randomized controlled trial
Journal of Head Trauma Rehabilitation Sep 20, 2017
Fann JR, et al. - This randomized controlled trial aimed to assess the efficacy and tolerability of sertraline for major depressive disorder (MDD) within 1 year of sustaining a traumatic brain injury (TBI). For MDD, sertraline monotherapy was not superior to placebo in people with postÂacute complicated mild to severe TBI. Further research was needed on the effectiveness of interventions that also addressed the significant psychosocial needs of this population.
