Sanfilippo C, et al. - Researchers formulated a study to illustrate SERPING1 mRNA overexpression in monocytes from human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)+ patients. In light of the study outcomes, they surmised that SERPING1 and its network served as important components of the innate immune system to restrict HIV-1 infection.
