Andreassen M, et al. - This study was designed to explore the occurrence of deterioration of semen quality in individuals with adult-onset gonadotropin insufficiency. Maximum cases reported normal semen quality based on the number of progressively motile spermatozoa, regardless of Leydig cell insufficiency in patients with acquired pituitary insufficiency. Additionally, luteinizing hormone bioactivity was reduced in patients with pituitary insufficiency.
