Segmental arterial mediolysis: Abdominal imaging of and disease course in 111 patients

Naidu SG, et al. - Experts attempted to investigate the imaging characteristics of segmental arterial mediolysis (SAM) at presentation and to establish the longitudinal course of disease. Renal arteries, superior mesenteric artery, and celiac artery were most commonly affected in SAM. Data revealed dissections and aneurysms as the most common imaging findings. Stability or regression was illustrated via follow-up imaging studies in maximum patients.
