Gibbs BB, et al. - The relationships between objective sedentary time (ST) and moderate- to vigorous-intensity physical activity (MVPA) with current and 5-year changes in BMI and waist circumference were assessed in this study. The authors revealed that ST was correlated with increases in adiposity over time. For weight control, reducing sedentary time could be a novel strategy.
