Narad ME, et al. - The development of secondary attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (SADHD) was evaluated 5-10 years after traumatic brain injuries (TBIs). Additionally, the individual (gender, age at injury, and injury characteristics) and environmental (socioeconomic status and family functioning) factors related to SADHD were determined. A connection between early childhood TBI with increased risk for SADHD was shown.
