Adamowicz J, Juszczak K, Poletajew S, et al. - Via performing this minireview, researchers examined if the use of scented candles could be related to a risk of bladder cancer development. Many of the substances that are associated with bladder cancer are contained in burning scented candles. In addition, the scented candles are very popular as well as are widely available in the market, with limited quality regulations and unspecified raw materials determining a spectrum of potentially dangerous substances emitted during burning.
