Lange J, et al. - This study entailed comparison of satisfaction rates after total knee arthroplasty (TKA) in large, age-differentiated, propensity-score matched cohorts. Irrespective of age, over 85% satisfaction with knee surgery was reported. In addition, it was noted that although the preoperative, as well as postoperative levels of self-reported activity, were higher in younger patients, they perceived more knee-related dysfunction and dissatisfaction post-surgery.
