World Journal of Urology Mar 14, 2018
Mayr R, et al. - The effect of sarcopenia as a predictor of 90-day mortality (90 dM) and complications within 90 days following radical cystectomy for bladder cancer in this single-center study were determinied. Among patients undergoing radical cystectomy (RC) for bladder cancer, sarcopenia proved an independent predictor for 90 dM and complications. Sarcopenia was noted to be independently related to Clavien–Dindo (CD) ≥ 3b complications corrected for age, BMI, ASA score and type of urinary diversion, according to multivariable logistic regression analysis.
