Buffet A, et al. - End-stage renal disease is a well-known complication after solid-organ transplantation. In this retrospective, monocentric study, researchers assessed the outcome of patients with a liver, heart, or lung transplant who underwent peritoneal dialysis (PD) for replacement therapy. PD appeared to have efficacy as a replacement therapy for patients with a previous history of solid-organ transplantation.
