BMC Ophthalmology Feb 07, 2019
Tanabe H, et al. - A total of 12 eyes of 6 candidates were assessed just before and after wiping lid margins using tap water alone, Eye Shampoo, Eye Brush, or both products, each during a different week to examine the efficacy of these products in subjects with normal meibomian glands. Investigators noticed a decline in eyestrain, eye discharge, and dryness with tap water, Eye Shampoo, and Eye Brush, respectively. They observed significantly higher wiping efficiency of Eye Brush, Eye Shampoo or both as compared to that of tap water alone.
