Safety and efficacy of radiofrequency catheter ablation for tachyarrhythmia in children weighing less than 10 kg

Ozaki N, et al. - Safety and efficacy of radiofrequency catheter ablation for tachyarrhythmia were investigated in children weighing ≤ 10 kg. The researchers found no significant differences in rates of success, recurrence, or complications between children weighing less and more than 10 kg. Even in patients weighing less than 10 kg, radiofrequency catheter ablation (RFCA) was found to be safe and efficacious for tachyarrhythmia.
