Bravo L, et al. - Cryoablation was compared with radiofrequency ablation (RFA) in terms of efficacy and safety in the treatment of septal accessory pathways (APs). The evidence demonstrated that RFA vs. cryoablation afforded higher efficacy rates in studies, but was associated with a significantly higher rate of atrioventricular block (AVB).
