Simillis C, et al. - A comparative analysis of the clinical outcomes and effectiveness of sacral nerve stimulation (SNS) versus percutaneous tibial nerve stimulation (PTNS) for the treatment of faecal incontinence (FI) in adults was conducted. A substantial improvement was noted in the functional outcomes and quality of life due to SNS compared to PTNS. Neither of the treatments was associated with serious adverse events.
