Cohen R, et al. – Authors here evaluated the effectiveness of only Roux–en–Y gastric bypass (RYGB) in patients with type 2 diabetes (T2D) and body mass index (BMI) of 30Â40 kg/m². They gained strong evidence suggesting that RYGB improved metabolic outcomes for at least 5 years in patients with class I obesity.
