Role of clinical and surgical factors for the prediction of immediate, early and late functional result and its relatonship with cardivascular outcome after partial nephrectomy: Results from the prospective multicenter RECORd 1 Project
The Journal of Urology Nov 18, 2017
Antonelli A, et al. - Researchers sought to identify the predictors of short and long-term renal function impairment after partial nephrectomy. The findings shed light on the prominent link between surgical modifiable factors with a worse immediate and early functional outcome after partial nephrectomy. On the other hand, the clinical unmodifiable factors exerted an impact on the renal function during the entire follow-up. Late renal function impairment served as an independent predictor of the development of postoperative cardiovascular events.
