Zampini A, et al. – Researchers aimed to describe the use of buccal mucosal graft (BMG) in a salvage robotic laparoscopic pyeloplasty as an alternative in the management of recurrent UPJ obstruction. The evidence showed that robotic pyeloplasty with BMG is an alternative in the management of recurrent UPJ obstructions. Moreover, short term follow up has illustrated that it is an effective and attractive approach when compared to more extensive and invasive surgeries such as renal autotransplant and ileal ureter.
