Shu MK, et al. - Researchers performed a comparison between perioperative outcomes associated with robotic sacrocolpoperineopexy and traditional robotic sacrocolpopexy with concomitant vaginal prolapse repair. Robotic sacrocolpoperineopexy proved an efficacious and well-tolerated procedure. Compared to traditional sacrocolpopexy technique with concomitant vaginal prolapse repair, robotic sacrocolpoperineopexy was associated with decreased total operative time, narcotic requirements postoperatively, and length of stay.
