Loertzer P, et al. - Herein, researchers assessed the feasibility and perioperative results of patients who underwent robot-assisted cystectomy with intracorporeal urinary diversion and robot-sewn ileoileal anastomosis. Findings suggested robot-sewn ileoileal anastomosis to be feasible with low complication rates. A robot-sewn ileoileal anastomosis could serve as an alternative and cost-saving approach compared to the stapled anastomosis.
