Risky sexual behavior and associated factors among antiretroviral therapy attendees in Nekemte Referral Hospital, Western Ethiopia: A cross-sectional study

Mosisa G, et al. - The prevalence of risky sexual behavior and associated factors were investigated among people living with HIV attending antiretroviral therapy (ART) clinic at Nekemte Referral Hospital. Researchers performed an institution-based based cross-sectional study at the ART clinic of Nekemte Referral Hospital from March to April 2016 and identified that about one third (32.9%) of the study participants were engaged in risky sexual behavior in the past 3 months prior to the study, thereby indicating a high prevalence of risky sexual behavior. They highly recommend making efforts to increase awareness through health education and counseling.
