Tzeng NS, et al. – The authors performed this nationwide, population–based, cohort study to examine the relationship between Guillain–Barre syndrome (GBS) and the risk of developing psychiatric disorders. They found that patients who suffered from GBS had a higher risk of developing psychiatric disorders. This finding cautioned the clinicians that a regular psychiatric follow–up could be needed for such patients.
