Chen JH, et al. - Whether or not patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) have a higher risk of pressure sores (PrSs) was determined in a cohort study. ALS was correlated with an increased risk for PrS. It was recommended that more attention be paid to the management of ALS patients for PrS prevention, particularly in women and those at a relatively younger age.
