Jan RL, et al. – A retrospective large–scale cohort study is carried out to explore the risk of corneal ulcer in patients with end–stage renal disease (ESRD). The outcome suggests ESRD increases the risk of a corneal ulcer, especially in patients with ESRD with diabetes mellitus. Regular ocular examinations are proposed for patients with ESRD.
