Komaki Y, et al. - This systematic review and meta-analysis evaluated the risk of colorectal cancer (CRC) in individuals with various chronic kidney diseases (CKDs) before and after kidney transplantation. Electronic databases were used to identify cohort studies evaluating the risk of CRC in individuals with CKDs. Data from 54 eligible studies were analyzed. Findings showed that, regardless of a history of transplant, individuals with CKD had a significantly increased risk of CRC.
