Gunawardana NC – Researchers strived to determine the risk of anaphylaxis in complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). Here, several culprits identified including Andrographis paniculata, Echinacea species, bee products, Ginkgo biloba and Ginseng had been considered. Moreover, knowing the factors that increase the risk of anaphylaxis allowed reactions to be recognized, reported and further investigated. They proposed to collaborate the allergy community and CAM practitioners to allow a better understanding of allergy to these therapies.
