Risk of allergic reactions to recurrent intravenous penicillin administration in penicillin skin test negative patients

Dorman SM, et al. - This study was performed on patients who previously reported penicillin allergy and were found to be penicillin skin test and oral challenge negative. The goal was to assess the risk of allergic reactions to repeated doses of intravenous penicillin in these subjects. According to findings, repeated administration of intravenous penicillin antibiotics appeared to be safe in patients who reported penicillin allergy and had negative penicillin allergy testing.
