Auris Nasus Larynx Jul 22, 2019
Kitaya S, et al. - Researchers conducted this investigation to study risk factors for dysgeusia after tonsillectomy. A retrospective survey of medical records recognised 318 subjects (163 male and 155 female subjects aged 12–75 years, average 41.7 ± 16.1 years) who had tonsillectomy. After tonsillectomy, women and patients under the age of 60 had a considerably greater rate of dysgeusia. Patients are advised to be informed of the prospective postoperative dysgeusia complication.
