Tang Y, et al. – The risk factors for age–related cataract (ARC) in a Chinese adult population is studied in this research. Decreased outdoor activity, outdoor eye protection, prevention of high myopia, higher education level, controlled blood pressure, improved HDL and LDL levels, and decreased pickled food consumption may help to decrease the risk of ARC development.
