Bermeo AMP, et al. - Experts aimed to determine the possible clinical risk factors for post-obstructive diuresis (POD) in the pediatric population following open pyeloplasty. No data about prognostic clinical risk factors for POD following open pyeloplasty in the pediatric population were noted herein. This trial corresponded to one of the larger series reported till date. Data revealed a greater risk of POD in the younger subjects and subjects with a previous diagnosis of tubular acidosis.
