Risk factors for episodic neck pain in workers: A 5-year prospective study of a general working population

Petit A, et al. - In this prospective study, the risk factors for episodic neck pain (NP) in a large diverse sample of active workers were examined. The authors concluded that NP occurred due to complex relationships between individual and work-related variables. Factors that differently predicted episodic NP according to the sex were high physical workload, awkward postures, and poor organizational environment together with age.
