Gausden EB, et al. - Researchers undertook this investigation to estimate the current rate of dislocation following total hip arthroplasty (THA) in the United States and to determine the patients at highest risk for instability after THA. According to findings, THA carried an overall low rate of postprocedural instability, with high efficacy. The most significant independent risk factor for dislocation within the first 6 months following THA was having a history of spinal fusion.
