Risk factors and their diagnostic values for ocular metastases in gastric adenocarcinoma
Cancer Management and Research Jul 29, 2021
Chen Y, Yang YC, Tang LY, et al. - In the present study, the researchers sought to examine the risk factors for ocular metastasis (OM) in gastric adenocarcinoma. Between June 2003 and July 2019, patients with gastric adenocarcinoma were recruited for this study. Demographic data and serological indicators (SI) were compared between patients with and without OM, and binary logistic regression was used to see if the relevant SI were risk factors for OM of gastric adenocarcinoma. In patients with gastric adenocarcinoma, low-density lipoprotein and carbohydrate antigen-724 have utility as predictors of OM, with a larger predictive value when these factors are combined.
