Right ventricular involvement evaluated by cardiac magnetic resonance imaging predicts mortality in patients with light chain amyloidosis
Heart and Vessels Aug 30, 2017
Wan K, et al. – This study assessed the role of cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR)– assisted right ventricular (RV) assessment in predicting the prognosis in cardiac amyloidosis (CA). In CA patients, RVESVi and RV–late gadolinium enhancement (LGE) independently predicted survival and RV assessment by CMR enabled risk stratification.
