Kang SH, et al. – This exploration was intended to assess whether rifaximin was correlated with the risk of death and cirrhotic complications. Rifaximin treatment was significantly correlated with prolonged overall survival and reduced risks of spontaneous bacterial peritonitis, variceal bleeding, and recurrent hepatic encephalopathy in patients without hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).
