Nonetheless, a correlation between the Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus (DP) nasal provocation, skin prick wheal size and blood sIgE level was seen, only nasal provocation testing is associated with severity of nasal symptoms. Authors suggested that in order to verify a clinically relevant allergy, NPT should be performed.
