Kusaka J, et al. - Residual lesions were evaluated in small bowel immediately after surgery in patients with Crohn’s disease (CD). Endoscopic activity immediately after “curative” surgery was observed in many cases with CD. These residual lesions were correlated with postoperative clinical recurrence, this was particularly seen in the distal small intestine.
