Archives of Diseases in Childhood Sep 04, 2017
Hayes L, et al. Â This study was carried out to determine the current provision of rehabilitation services for children after severe acquired brain injury (ABI) in the UK. Collected data represented that there were at least 350 probable severe ABI requiring rehabilitation (PSABIR) events in children in the UK annually. Service provision for this population varies widely around the UK, in contrast with the nationally coordinated approach to paediatric intensive care and major trauma provision.
