Reproducibility of CT texture features of pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms

European Journal of Radiology Oct 26, 2020

Gruzdev IS, Zamyatina KA, Tikhonova VS, et al. - This study was undertaken to investigate the reproducibility of textural features of pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (PNENs), collected under various CT-scanning conditions. Researchers enrolled 12 individuals with PNENs and 2 contrast-enhanced CT from the center according to standard CT-protocol and from another institution. The study found the highest reproducibility in the first scenario in comparison with the second and third: 100% vs. 74% and 67%. In this study, reproducible texture features can be reliably applied to evaluate the PNENs structure.
