Tan W, et al. - The goal of this paper was to inspect the cardioprotective effect of remote ischemic preconditioning (RIPC) in pediatric patients undergoing congenital heart surgery. Findings deduced that RIPC displayed cardioprotective effects in the early postoperative phase. In order to determine the cardiac benefits from RIPC in pediatric patients, additional exploration was required.
