Atherosclerosis Mar 08, 2019
Lin A, et al. - In 587 patients with suspected coronary artery disease (CAD), researchers assessed the connection between remnant cholesterol and coronary atherosclerotic plaque burden evaluated non-invasively via computed tomography coronary angiography (CTCA). The results obtained from the multicenter study indicate that remnant cholesterol levels were related to significant coronary atherosclerotic burden as evaluated via CTCA and in patients with optimal low-density lipoprotein cholesterol levels.
