Lupus Feb 01, 2019
Alarcón GS, et al. - In systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients, researchers analyzed the impact of remission and low disease activity state (LDAS) on damage accrual and mortality. A total of 3,879 visits were studied for 558 patients. Investigators observed that the longer the patient's state on Remission/LDAS, the less damage accrual that occurs. The protective effect was not statistically significant on mortality.
