Brazg J, et al. - Researchers here sought to examine an association between blood gas laboratory location and accuracy of Emergency Department (ED) lactic acid samples. Researchers noted a decrease in mean lactate values when measured in an ED blood gas laboratory. It might provide more accurate lactic Acid (LA) results than blood gas samples analyzed at a satellite laboratory (SL) blood gas laboratory within the same institution.
