Yan BM, et al. – This research aspired to evaluate the reliability of existing endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) indices and correlated them with endoscopic and histologic scores. Inter–rater agreement was fair although “substantial” to “almost perfect” intra–rater agreement existed for EUS indices in ulcerative colitis (UC). With the development of a revised evaluative instrument, standardization of item definitions had potential application as an evaluative and prognostic tool for UC.
