Kennedy SH, et al. - The relative efficacy and acceptability of agomelatine (25-50 mg) compared to vortioxetine (10–15–20 mg) were determined in adult patients with the major depressive disorder. As per the outcomes, most antidepressants were of similar average efficacy and tolerability. Measured by a quantitative clinical research approach, such equivalent therapeutic benefit of both compounds had to be discussed with the knowledge of a qualitative estimation in routine practice.
